Overview of the Selection Process

Stage I

Submission of a business plan application and executive summary, describing the proposed venture. All submissions should be made to [email protected].

Deadline: Friday, October 26th, 2007
Applicants notified of status: Sunday, November 11th, 2007

Stage II

In Stage II, the most promising applicants will be invited to submit a complete business plan.

Deadline: Thursday, November 15th, 2007
Applicants notified of status: Friday, November 23rd, 2007

Stage II

The top 3 applicants from Stage II will be invited to present at the WMY Conference on Saturday, December 1, 2007. Stage III finalists will present their business plans at the New Venture Competition at the 34th Annual Whitney M. Young Memorial Conference, held on Saturday, December 1, 2007. (Finalists will be provided with assistance to improve their presentations before the conference). Each finalist is guaranteed a prize and MUST be registered for the Conference.
