Amachie Ackah
Founder and Managing Partner, Cedar Hill Real Estate Partners
Mr. Ackah is the founder and managing partner of the Fund and its Management Company, where he has responsibilities over the investment process and portfolio management. He has over ten years of real estate industry experience as a professional in both real estate investment funds and development companies. Prior to forming the Fund, Mr. Ackah was a principal responsible for acquisitions and portfolio management at Lubert-Adler Partners LP, a premier real estate opportunity fund, for four years. He also served as director of acquisitions and development for the Buccini/Pollin Group Inc., a real estate operating partner that acquires, develops, and manages commercial, lodging, residential, and office properties in the Mid-Atlantic United States. Mr. Ackah was a member of the investment team at the Praedium Group LP (formerly Credit Suisse First Boston's real estate opportunity fund) and an analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co.
Mr. Ackah holds a B.A. from Williams College and an M.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Toigo Fellow and distinguished as a Murphy Fellow by the faculty of the Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center.
