Prior to forming First Genesis Financial Group, Sanders was President and Co-CEO of an institutional investment management firm responsible for macro-economic analysis, equity portfolio management, new business development and management of the mutual fund division.
He began his career as a pension employee benefit representative for AETNA Financial after earning his BBA in Risk Management from Howard University. With over 24 years of experience in the financial services industry, Sanders is a thought leader in wealth and investment management. He provides economic and financial market commentary at CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN and ABC World News. He co-hosts Financial Voices, a weekly wealth management and business financial matters program.
He serves on the African American Chamber of Commerce and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Sanders was appointed in 2007 by the Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition which by charter names one representative on the Foundation’s Board.
